Writing Center aims to better writing skills from day one

Many times students are afraid that going to the "writing center" means you are a bad writer and will be looked down upon as inferior.  It's quite the opposite, actually.  The MTSU Writing Center seeks to provide timely, relevant support for instructors, staff, and students at all levels.  Whether you are finishing up a thesis or struggling at the beginning of the semester, their door is always open and should be utilized as a helpful resource in refining your writing skills for life. Check them out.

Starting with the May 2016 commencement ceremony, the university will begin a new tradition of holding a separate ceremony for grad students in the spring and fall. Students, family and friends can stay up-to-date on the details of all MTSU commencement ceremonies here.
