Tips for a Successful Visit

Register Early!

Dates fill up quickly. We limit the size our groups so that everyone can get individual attention and have their questions answered.

Get to know us in advance!
The MTSU Visitors Guide will give you a preview of MTSU and the surrounding Murfreesboro community.

Arrive Early!
Plan to be on campus 10-15 minutes prior to your campus visit to allow
for parking and checking in. The information sessions start promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Rain or Shine!

Your visit will consist of a 60-minute walking tour of campus. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared for inclement weather (umbrella, rain gear, etc.).

Ask Questions!
Have questions prepared for the Admissions Presentation and during the tour. We want to answer all your questions before you leave campus.

Tour Housing!
Housing tours are available daily at 12:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. following the campus tour. These tours begin in the Keathley University Center, Room 300. No reservations are required. For more information, please call 615-898-2971.

Enjoy your visit!
