Sports Camp

Participating in Youth Sports Camp is a great way for your child to get involved, learn a variety of sport, leisure and fitness activities and learn important crucial life skills. Some of the most valuable skills emphasized are good sportsmanship, the value of regular exercise, and working together as a team. Other goals include: learning beginner-to-intermediate skills in a variety of sports; the importance of a healthy lifestyle; developing a good character, and, of course, having fun! 

Sports camp meets weekly and is open to youth ages 7-13. Sessions are $165 per camper which includes lunch at an MTSU Dining Service venue. A $40 fee for drop-ins is also available. Discounts are available for multiple children and/or multiple weeks.

Campers should come dressed in comfortable sports/active wear apparel appropriate for playing a variety of games, activities and swimming.

Days: Monday – Friday

Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., drop-off: 7:30-9 a.m.; pick-up: 4-5:30 p.m., Campus Recreation, 1848 Blue Raider Drive.

Adventure Camp

July 7-11

Adventure Camp is an entertaining, week-long camp for teens age 14-17 and provides an opportunity for participants to discover Tennessee's great outdoors. The Stones River, Kings Bluff, Barfield Park and Indian Grove are among the locations participants will explore. Cost is $180 and the registration deadline is July 3. Participation is limited to 10. There are a few spots left, so register now! Cost includes transportation, gear, guides, and permit fees. Campers provide their own lunches, drinks and snacks for each day but large coolers for storage are provided. Bringing extra money for food or drinks is optional.
