Criminal Justice Department, Temporary Faculty

Position begins: August 1, 2014

Full-time, Lecturer, one year temporary (non-tenure track) teaching position for various online criminal justice courses.
The position requires the online lecturer to regularly and predictably be available to online students both in class and office hours.  The posted online office hours should be the same number of hours as required of FTTs teaching on-campus courses.  The person hired must be a resident of Tennessee and will be required to meet occasionally with the chair of the department or MTSU administration as requested.  Travel expenses are the responsibility of the faculty member.  Prior to beginning the teaching of online courses the faculty must receive the appropriate online training and/or certification to teach both MTSU and RODP online classes.  
           
Health and Human Performance Department
Leisure, Sport and Tourism Studies, Temporary Faculty

Position begins: August 1, 2014

Primary responsibilities will be to teach in the undergraduate program in Leisure, Sport, and Tourism Studies. Candidates should possess expertise in two or more of the following: recreational sport management, sport management, commercial recreation, recreation foundations, or other related areas in Leisure and Sport Management.             
 

School of Nursing, Faculty, Tenure-Track

Position begins: August 1, 2014

Position requires classroom and clinical teaching of baccalaureate nursing and master of nursing students, student advisement, research and scholarly activity, and university/community service. Excellence in teaching, research/creative activity, and service is expected for all positions. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using integrative technologies in teaching.

School of Nursing, Faculty, Clinical-Track

Positions begins: August 1, 2014

Excellence in teaching is expected for all positions. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using integrative technologies in teaching. Responsibilities include clinical teaching of baccalaureate nursing students, committee involvement in the School of Nursing.
