EDUCATION/INTERESTS:

(1999) B.S. in Chemistry (ACS certified) Murray State University, 1982. PhD in Chemistry (Inorganic) Texas A & M University 1986.

My research interests are two-fold: first the development and writing of chemistry laboratory experiments for the introductory student. I am interested in investigating student learning styles, and integrating aspects of everyday experience into laboratory experiments. Secondly, I am pursuing research into the history and philosophy of science (specifically European history and "western"; science), and the history of the interaction between science and organized religion.
