Kristina is a second year graduate student at Middle Tennessee State University. She expects to graduate in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Kristina received her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN with a minor in Sociology in 2003.

Kristina has recently joined the I/O field, having come from a background in actuarial consulting where she worked in the Retirement practice at Towers Watson helping Fortune 1000 companies manage their pension plan costs through the increasingly volatile economic market changes. While her primary responsibilities included serving her clients' needs, Kristina also supervised and mentored staff and was able to witness first-hand the issues affecting employees' job performance, job satisfaction, retention, engagement, and overall work-life balance. It was this role that led Kristina to pursue a degree in I/O psychology to understand the underlying causes of, and solutions to, employee and organizational effectiveness.

At COHRE, Kristina has worked on organizational surveys from item development to interpretation of results. She has been able to utilize her extensive data analysis skills to peruse qualitative and quantitative data to discover trends among the data, as well as aiding in the reporting and communication of such trends. She has also helped in the development of an internship program for a utility company. She is currently working on creating a balanced scorecard to help an organization implement a strategic plan at the organizational level. Kristina plans to pursue work in I/O consulting upon graduation.
