I-Chun (Nicky) Wu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Middle Tennessee State University. She received her doctoral degree in Sustainable Tourism and Protected Area Management from Michigan State University. She studies recreation and tourism management, with a special focus on tourist behaviors, natural resource planning and management, and technology application related to the use of Geographic Information System and Virtual Reality. She received her doctoral degree in Sustainable Tourism and Protected Area Management from Michigan State University. She studies recreation and tourism management, with a special focus on tourist behaviors, natural resource planning and management, and technology application related to the use of Geographic Information System and Virtual Reality. Dr. Wu has been actively involved in several research and planning projects, including trail and waterway use, environmental policy and issues in Michigan, and resource management planning for state parks and public land in Oklahoma.
