Biography

Vickie Montgomery is a Certified Online Instructor (LERN), and has taught over 100 online courses for MTSU.  Vickie’s primary area of expertise is in ethics, where she continues to teach graduate students about professional ethics in the workplace.  She completed the Ethical Leadership Certification from NASBA and integrates a practical approach to applying ethics.  While getting her BBA degree, Vickie received 2nd place at the Wright State University Sociology Symposium ...

Vickie Montgomery is a Certified Online Instructor (LERN), and has taught over 100 online courses for MTSU.  Vickie’s primary area of expertise is in ethics, where she continues to teach graduate students about professional ethics in the workplace.  She completed the Ethical Leadership Certification from NASBA and integrates a practical approach to applying ethics.  While getting her BBA degree, Vickie received 2nd place at the Wright State University Sociology Symposium on a paper about Business Ethics.  Vickie teaches graduate online courses in Issues and Ethics and Computer –based Decision Modeling, and undergraduate students in Principles of Management.

Prior to teaching, Vickie was Vice President and Commercial Lending officer for an Atlanta bank.  She also owned a travel agency.  Vickie has published two books: Smart Woman’s Guide to Starting a Business, and The Woman Manager’s Troubleshooter. Vickie completed the American Red Cross Disaster training and worked for the Small Business Administration in Disaster Relief (both as loan specialist and customer service representative) for 8 years.
