When assigning Federal Work-Study (FWS) positions, the Financial Aid Office, to the maximum extent practicable, makes assignments that reinforce the student's educational program or career goals. Once the student has been assigned to a department/office, he/she will receive an Assignment Sheet indicating the date to start and what department/office he/she are assigned.
FWS students who wish to be re-assigned need to contact the Financial Aid Office. FWS students will only be allowed to change their Department/Office one time.
Students who are not eligible for FWS may check with individual departments on campus to see if they are hiring student help. Jobs are also listed at the Career and Employment Center on campus.
