Greetings from the Information Technology Division (ITD)!
ITD's workshops are free and are available to faculty, staff (classified, professional, and administrative), and graduate assistants (except where noted).
A sample of workshop offerings
Get started with computer graphic programs such as Illustrator; edit and enhance pictures with Photoshop. You'll also get familiar with Word 2007, Excel 2007, and Access; learn to design Web pages with Dreamweaver; get trained in D2L; and more!
Registration is required (except where noted). You may register on the Web or call ITD at ext. 5345. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual consultation for instructional technology needs may be requested by calling ext. 8189. Other workshops are available upon request.
Attention Mac users
Many workshops offered this semester are multi-platform (i.e., they are intended for both Macintosh and PC users). These workshops are taught on Windows computers, but the course content is appropriate for both platforms. In most cases you do not need experience with Windows in order to take the workshop, just a basic familiarity with using a computer and a mouse.
