National Women's History Month Awards

NWHM Awards

This banquet recognizes women and men in the Rutherford County community and MTSU community who have been advocates for Women Rights and have shown great character, courage, and commitment to the cause.

The deadline for nominations is April 4, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.

Category Details

Global Advocate

This award is for advocacy for women in the international setting. This award will be given to someone who exemplifies outstanding contributions.

STEM Award

The award for Advocacy for women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. This award is for someone who exemplifies outstanding service in the above fields.

Community Advocate

The award for advocacy for women in a local setting. This award is given to someone who exemplifies outstanding contributions in the community.

Passionate Educator Award

The award for an educator who is passionate and advocates for women.

Male Advocate Award

For a male advocate of, for, and about women.

Collegiate Trailblazer Award

This is an award recognizing a Middle Tennessee State University student who has been an exceptional contributor in women’s issues on the campus of MTSU and who has the “innovation and willpower” to take the road less traveled when advocating for women.
