  • Master List of campus gender neutral/family bathrooms — The following is a list of Gender Neutral "Family" facilities located on MTSU's campus. If you know of any additional Gender Neutral facilities located on campus, please contact the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership.

        • There is one gender neutral changing room located in the hallway at the south end of the indoor pool. The room is equipped with a toilet, sink, shower and lockers.
  • List of LGBT+ Organizations
    • MT Lambda
      • Founded in 1988, MT Lambda is MTSU’s only all-inclusive LGBT+ student organization, and the oldest organization of its kind in the state. Their mission is to provide support to members of the LGBT+ & Allied community at MTSU as well as to educate the student body and surrounding community on relevant LGBT+ issues. The organization hosts weekly meetings during the fall & spring semesters, and is open to all currently enrolled students.

  • Nashville GLBT Chamber of Commerce
    The NLGBTCC serves the Greater Nashville Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender business community. The Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce advances common business interests, economic growth, and equality in the workplace and society for its LGBT members, businesses, and allies by providing educational, networking, and community building opportunities.
  • Nashville Cares
    Nashville CARES promotes and participates in a comprehensive and compassionate response to HIV/AIDS in Middle Tennessee. Their purpose is to educate the community for increased understanding and prevention of HIV transmission, to advocate for responsible public policy, and to provide services that improve the quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS and their families.  Outcentral: outcentral.org • OutCentral is Greater Nashville's LGBT Center, located at 1709 Church Street. OutCentral's mission is to connect, educate, empower, and build a positive, energy-filled space for greater Nashville's diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.  Project Uno: www.facebook.com/ProjectUNOnashville • Project UNO is a program in the Nashville area that focuses on empowerment, outreach, and education surrounding issues concerning African American Men who sleep with men (the AAMSM community). They provide case management, counseling, testing, pre and post HIV/A&D treatment care, and empowerment groups.  TN Eqaulity Project: tnequalityproject.org • Tennessee Equality Project is a statewide organization dedicated to promote and sustain the equality of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons in the State of Tennessee through the establishment of fair and equitable laws protecting these rights and the elimination of laws that would seek to counter this effort.  TN Trans Men: https://www.facebook.com/MiddleTennesseeTransMen • Middle Tennessee Trans-Men is a support group for all trans-men, whether transitioning, or questions about transitioning.
