Meet Kelsi Carter

Currently a True Blue senior in the School of Journalism, Kelsi Carter is just itching to write for big-time publications such as National Geographic and TIME. The Hendersonville, Tenn., native originally began her college career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and transferred to our campus as soon as she heard about our award-winning Journalism program. While Kelsi is indeed a writer, she has honed in on photojournalism in particular because she believes that photos show more than just words in a story. As is evidenced by her Honors College Creative Expression Award, this photojournalist has enjoyed painting and drawing since birth. We are very proud to have her as part of our Mass Comm. family.
