Academic Programs

Students may elect to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in:

  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Entrepreneurship

The department offers undergraduate minors in:

  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Entrepreneurship

Graduate students in the Master of Business Adminstration program may choose from several elective courses.

Courses are offered in human resource management, production/operations management, business administration, marketing and entrepreneurship.

Students majoring in management, marketing, business administration, and entrepreneurship must take the following types of courses to complete their degrees:

  • General studies courses
  • General business courses (15 courses)
  • Major requirements
  • Non-business electives

Complete information about degree requirements can be found in the MTSU Undergraduate catalog. Students are encouraged to see their advisor to discuss degree requirements. Students should complete an upper-division form by the second semester of their sophomore year.

The Department of Management and Marketing offers the Master of Science in Management program, with three concentrations:

  • Not-for-Profit Management
  • Organizational Leadership
  • Supply Chain Management
