I. Purpose

This policy sets forth considerations for the printing and use of letterhead stationery and business cards for all units of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU or University) in order to provide for consistency in the branding of the University.

II. Applicability

The policy applies to all units of MTSU.

III. General Statement

A.  The Division of Marketing and Communications shall develop guidelines and procedures consistent with this policy. Exceptions to this policy are subject to prior approval by the Vice President for Marketing and Communications.

B.  The Vice President for Marketing and Communications shall designate an individual, office, or committee to approve the printing, development, and purchase of all letterhead stationery (printed or digital) and business cards bearing the name of the University, and be responsible for enforcement of this policy.

C.  The Division of Marketing and Communications shall develop design and printing specifications and procedures.

D.  All University stationery and business cards shall be designed, developed, printed, or provided electronically through the Division of Marketing and Communications.
