staff, and other non-student email boxes from an outdated and specialized Web-based
email appliance (Mirapoint) to the modern and ubiquitous Microsoft email software
solution - the Microsoft Exchange 2010 server, Microsoft Outlook, and the Outlook

The system that manages the www.mtsu.edu website is being replaced to allow for a more state-of-the-art, stable, and user-friendly
web authoring environment for offices, departments, colleges and divisions. Web content
management systems are a vital tool to allow ease of content entry for non-technical
staff, the ability to maintain the university branding guidelines and sharing of content
over multiple sites. Web sites using the current Luminis Content Management System
(LCMS) will be migrated to the new product and content contributors will be retrained
