Center For Sports Policy and Research
In recent years, the parallels between our nation's youth sport institutions and
its high school, collegiate and professional sport institutions have, for better or
worse, become increasingly clear. Regardless, organizational bodies that govern sport
must gain a far better understanding of the ways in which their decisions, personnel,
media, and messages are being publicly perceived and how these messages and levels
of sport are impacting behavior, policy, and change at these foundational levels.
To address this vital gap, Middle Tennessee State University seeks to create the
Center for Sport Policy and Research (CSPR).
Journal of Sport Administration and Supervision
The mission of the
Journal of Sport Administration and Supervision is to develop, advance, disseminate, promote, and preserve knowledge within the academic
discipline of sport management by providing an outlet that is both grounded in academic
theory and driven by the needs of practitioners and the environment of the sport industry.
