Some of the TN e-Campus course numbers may differ from MTSU numbers. The Course Equivalency Chart may assist students in determining if a TN e-Campus class is equivalent to the MTSU course number. An “R50” section number is attached.

Fees

MTSU Online, Hybrid, Accelerated Online and Synchronous Online courses cost the same as traditional MTSU courses, plus a distance education fee. See fee information for detailed listing of fees.

*Accelerated online courses do not evenly exchange with full-term or RODP courses once the semester begins.

The cost for TN e-Campus classes is higher than other MTSU courses. TN e-Campus courses are charged per hour and viewed separately from MTSU courses so as not to mix with the full-time cap applicable to MTSU courses in the fall and spring terms. TN e-Campus fees are computed in addition to any MTSU course fees and do not apply to the full-time maximum for MTSU registration fees.
See fee information for detailed listing of fees.

Meetings

Hybrid courses may require up to 15 hours of campus meetings. Students may review meeting dates/times in Pipeline.

MTSU Online and Accelerated Online courses do not require any specific meeting dates and times. (Optional meetings or some proctored exams may be scheduled at the students’ convenience within the timeframe allowed by the instructor.)

Synchronous online classes meet online at specified days and times during the semester. These meetings will create time conflicts for students taking other courses that require meetings.

Some courses require proctored midterm and/or final exams which can be scheduled  by the student at a location agreed upon by the instructor (usually a university, community college, or library) within the timeframe allowed by the instructor.
