Career Readiness from QEP to Strategic Plan 2035

SACSCOC recently announced an important change in the accreditation process regarding the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) requirement for institutions. The Commission has begun studying the QEP requirement while undertaking a scheduled review of the Principles of Accreditation. With this change, MTSU is not required to submit a QEP, and a QEP will not be part of the on-site review for reaffirmation in March 2026. Thank you to everyone who participated in the QEP process. Although Career EDGE will not be implemented as a QEP, a transition team will propose action steps to enhance career readiness services for implementation of Strategic Plan 2035.
