SVA@MTSU

Welcome to a new semester, as we prepare to begin this semester please remeber that the SVA and Charlie and Hazel Daniels Center is here to help all of our new Student Veteran's and those of us that have been here at M.T.S.U.

If you need anything please reach out to us.

Our membership is open to all Veteran's at MTSU, and we have among our rank’s veterans from several different military generations (OIF/OEF, Gulf, Vietnam) and multiple services. Some of our vets are still in the National Guard and Reserve of multiple branches. We have students, faculty, and alumni as well as support from the community.

The SVA@MTSU leadership realize that our work is not done when it comes to improving the way of life for our Veteran community here at Middle Tennessee State University. We pledge to continue to work towards a better learning environment for the Veteran Student’s here at MTSU. We will work with the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Center, the Student Government Association, the school leadership as well as with the Veteran Service Organizations here in middle Tennessee.

SVA offers peer support for veterans transitioning back to civilian life and academia, frequently after serving one or more deployments overseas.

SVA@MTSU is a chapter member of the national Student Veterans of America and works to coordinate with veterans’ groups from around the region.

This is a group for veterans and supporters at MTSU. Anyone can join. We're looking for vets, family members of vets, and anyone who supports the military. It's also open to alumni vets. So come on in, say hi on the wall, and invite your friends!
