Visiting the Aerospace Department on Campus
The best way to see if the MTSU Aerospace Department is a good fit for you is to visit! In addition to the daily campus tours offered by the University, the Aerospace Department offers an information session and tour of the Department facilities on campus, conducted by our Aerospace Ambassadors. Ambassadors are specially selected and trained to be able to share important information about the Department’s programs of study and facilities. This tour will last approximately 45 minutes.
Department tours are offered Monday through Friday. Requests must be submitted at least 2 days prior to the date requested. Please submit your request and we will do our best to accommodate the date/time you request. You will receive confirmation from the Aerospace Department once the tour has been scheduled.
Please be advised that the Aerospace Department will not conduct any tours for the rest of the semester due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We will update this page if a decision is made to start scheduling tours again this semester.

On the day of your visit, please come to the Aerospace Department main office, in the Business and Aerospace (BAS) building, room S211 (on the South side of the BAS).
Visiting the Airport Campus
Prospective students who are interested in the Professional Pilot or Maintenance Management concentrations should also plan to visit the MTSU Airport Campus. This will allow viewing of training aircraft and flight and maintenance training devices. No appointment is necessary to visit the Airport; simply report to the Flight School Dispatch Center in the Jean Jack Flight Education Center and indicate that you are a prospective student and would like a tour. The Airport Campus (1940 Memorial Blvd) is located towards the north central part of the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport; after entering the airport property, turn left towards the B-727 and the building with the MT Aerospace logo. The Jean Jack Flight Education Center is adjacent to the DA-40 training aircraft on a pole. If you would like assistance locating the Airport Campus buildings, the Flight School Dispatch Center can be reached at 615-890-5755.
