Thank you for your interest in the REU site: Chemical Research Using X-ray Methods (CRUX). This REU will run from May 31 to August 2, 2022.

To apply, please complete and submit the online application form. Applications received by February 22, 2022 will receive full consideration, but we will start reviewing on a rolling deadline. Tell your recommenders that a request for an academic reference letter will be arriving by email and give them a lead time of at least 2 weeks to send a letter.

Eligibility

The National Science Foundation requires applicants to be US citizens, US nationals, or permanent residents and undergraduate students graduating no earlier than September 2022. We encourage students from traditionally underrepresented groups in chemistry, especially Hispanic or African-Americans, and Native Americans of any kind, or Pacific Islanders. Other priority groups are students from colleges with limited research opportunities, first generation or low-income college students.
