MTSU and Noblitt True Blue Education Partnership

Middle Tennessee State University is excited to announce a unique partnership with Murfreesboro-based Noblitt Hospitality that provides educational opportunities and assistance to Noblitt-affiliated Chick-fil-A employees that want to earn their college degree. Noblitt will pay tuition costs for qualified Chick-fil-A employees who seek to earn their degrees at MTSU. The University and President Sidney McPhee are very excited about this partnership and believe it will generate interest from local, regional and national businesses that also want to provide their employees with exceptional educational opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

The program is open to all Chick-Fil-A Murfreesboro employees who meet the minimum criteria:

  • Remain in good standing with Company and all Company Policies
  • Have a minimum working availability of 4 days per week OR 20 hours per week.

Additionally, employees who have previously participated in the program must maintain qualifying criteria to continue participation:

  • Remain in good standing with Company and all Company Policies.
  • Have a minimum working availability of 4 days per week OR 20 hours per week.
  • Must maintain a 2.8 or higher GPA.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all courses for which the program has paid tuition.

To apply to participate in the program, employees must contact Alyssa Smart at [email protected] and complete an application for the program. The program includes personalized enrollment counselling, advising, and other supports. MTSU’s University College staff will assist the student in developing a personalized education path, including accessing all available tuition assistance supplement funds provided by the Chick-Fil-A Murfreesboro Educational Partnership. CFA-Murfreesboro will fund tuition costs for two semesters per calendar year, up to three credit hours per semester. Students who are eligible to participate in the program and who wish to pay out-of-pocket for additional hours or semesters will have the opportunity to do so at the Chick-Fil-A corporate tuition rate.
