Dr. Frame is a Senior Consultant for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness and a Professor of Psychology at The Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology from The Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). He is a member of The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and has served on the SIOP Conference Planning Committee and was the inaugural the Conference Consortia Committee Chair.    

Dr. Frame has a background in consulting and research. He has worked with a wide range of organizations such as Microsoft People Research, Saville Holdsworth Limited (SHL), MICA Management Resources, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Organizational Strategies Incorporated (OSI), Personnel Decisions International (PDI), Personnel Research Associates (PRA), and The New Orleans Civil Service Test and Validation Unit. Dr. Frame also was a 2004 recipient of the prestigious American Society of Training and Development Dissertation of the Year Award. Dr. Frame built and led the University of Texas at I-O Psychology Graduate Program. There he was awarded grants from the International Human Performance Corporation, Leadership Worth Following, L.L.C., and the JCPenney Company, Inc. He also led a research lab, which designed and conducted research in the field of I-O Psychology. He was a Cofounder of Leadership Worth Following, L.L.C., and served at the Chief Science Officer for the organization.  While in Texas he also served as an independent expert for The City of Dallas Attorney's Office in a matter relating to challenges made to City of Dallas Civil Service promotional process.     

With his colleagues and collaborators at COHRE, Dr. Frame has helped to develop and implement law enforcement selection and promotional processes for the Tennessee Highway Patrol; Special Agent selection processes for the Tennessee bureau of Investigation and physical abilities tests promotional processes the Murfreesboro Tennessee Police Department. He has presented this work in national conferences. His program of research reflects both his experiences in consulting and teaching. Overall, he is interested in job performance: The measurement of job performance; How different people view job performance differently; How stereotypes and attitudes impact people's perception of performance; Assessment center performance; Leadership performance and effectiveness; And the psychometric issues involved with performance ratings. As such, his research represents an overlap of industrial psychology and organizational psychology.
