MTSU Convocation

Convocation marks the official opening of the academic year, and welcomes all new students to MTSU! This event is an MTSU tradition and a must-attend for the entering Class of 2027. Convocation is hosted by President McPhee. New students will take the True Blue Pledge, led by Student Government Association President Michai Mosby.
Our keynote speaker will be Mr. Bruce Feiler, author of our summer reading book, “Life Is in the Transitions: Mastering Change at Any Age"
The Convocation Ceremony, as well as Mr. Feiler's presentation, can be viewed at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, on True Blue TV and MTSU’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
