Rachel Bailey

photo of Rachel BaileyRachel Bailey holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, awarded in 2021. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012.

Rachel has worked exclusively in community mental health in the Middle Tennessee area over the past ten years. She has enjoyed serving her home community of Rutherford County as a partner in the city schools teaching mental health awareness. Rachel utilizes theoretical orientations such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and strengths-based methods of counseling.

She’s had the privilege of being a first responder in the battle to prevent suicide and promote awareness. She is thrilled to return to MTSU and serve students in the capacity as a counselor. Rachel strives to offer a judgment-free and calming environment for all students. It is her hope that students will always feel safe and significantly valued.

Rachel enjoys jazz music and writing. She loves spending time with her dog (Oreo) and making/eating Cajun food!
