DAC Instructor Portal

Instructors will receive an accommodation letter as part of the body of an email.  The sender will be Accessible Information Management on behalf of us that will look like this:  Accessible Information Management <noreply@york.accessiblelearning.com> on behalf of dacemail@mtsu.edu <dacemail@mtsu.edu>

If you do not receive an email from this sender, it is not legitimate.  In the rare instances that a professor does not use email and will only accept paper copies, we will provide that student a paper copy stamped and/or signed by a member of our staff. In the case of a course with no assigned instructor, the DAC will send the student an electronic copy of the letter to share with a faculty member once the student knows who that is.  So, if you were assigned late to a class or for some other reason were never identified in Banner with the class, it would be legitimate to receive a letter directly from a student.

One very important piece is that we are asking instructors who receive a letter to login to the system at the following address:  https://york.accessiblelearning.com/MTSU/instructor/ and sign in using Pipeline credentials.  After agreeing to an understanding of FERPA, instructors can click “view” to the left of the student’s name.

This will display the same letter that was just received, but it will record it in the system that it has been viewed.  In the future, other pieces of the system, such as arranging test proctoring, will be used and this instructor portal will provide even more information so instructors can be more involved and informed.
