Areas of Expertise
Kim's research examines how leadership, professional development, and school context shape teaching practice and teachers’ perceptions of their work. To this end, her current research includes studies of the impact of school improvement efforts on teachers' reading instruction. She also studies how leadership activities impact the instructional practices and professional experiences of novice teachers.
