Biography

Dr. Bahmanziari received a Ph.D. in Accounting from Southern Illinois University in 2006. She has an MBA from Murray State University and two B.S. Degrees in Business, one with a major in Accounting and one with a major in Economics. Dr. Bahmanziari received a Ph.D. in Accounting from Southern Illinois University in 2006. She has an MBA from Murray State University and two B.S. Degrees in Business, one with a major in Accounting and one with a major in Economics. Her current research interests include exploring trust in the ecommerce environment, banking compliance software, participative budgeting, group decision support systems and implications of blockchain technology on the Accounting profession. She is a certified Federal Compliance Regulator. She has several years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner for the U.S. Treasury Department and several years in the private sector as a cost accountant. She worked 3 years as a cost accountant with General Dynamics and 3 years as a cost accountant with Murray, Inc., a leading outdoor products manufacturer.
