Getting Started
Begin with the Online Graduate Student Orientation to learn about campus technology, systems, organizations, and resources.
Access your PipelineMT and MTSU Email Account with your student portal credentials. If needed, you can reset your password through the Password Management page.
Submit “Proof Citizen/Lawfully Present (EVEA)” to your Application Portal if you have not already.
Review the Selective Service requirements to verify if you need to register. If you have unanswered selective service questions, please email the MT One Stop.
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Getting Ready for Class
Talk to your program director/advisor for advising. Their contact information can be found on your program’s page under “Contact Information.”
Check your holds in PipelineMT under Registration & Student Records.
Register for classes using PipelineMT. For help, visit the Registration Guide.
Find your course materials with the campus bookstore’s search function: Find Course Materials | MTSU Phillips Bookstore (bncollege.com).
Familiarize yourself with online resources such as D2L, Degreeworks, and the James E. Walker Library website.
Getting Ready for Campus
Pick up your parking pass after paying for your courses.
Get your Blue ID to access services across campus such as printing, study rooms, and the graduate reading room in the library, attending events for free, and receiving student discounts for local businesses.
Tour campus with a Campus Map. Visit for a self-guided tour, view the virtual tour, or schedule a tour with the College of Graduate Studies.
