The curriculum for the MTSU Graduate Certificate in Health Care Management is designed to meet the following goals:

  • Support interested individuals in the health care field who may or may not necessarily be interested in pursuing a graduate degree to obtain recognition for a coherent body of graduate level study in the field of health care management.
  • Provide for interdisciplinary collaboration in teaching, learning, and practice.
  • Encourage qualified students to pursue graduate degrees related to their specific field of interest/practice.

Admission Requirements:

To be admitted to the Certificate in Health Care Management program, a student must submit the following to the College of Graduate Studies:

  • Online application and appropriate application fee
  • Official transcript of all colleges, universities (including business and technical schools). If the transcripts are issued from an international (non-US) institution, a course-by course analysis is required. Original non-US transcripts should be submitted directly to the evaluation service.
  • Letter of Intent. (Specifically, it should be a one-page narrative demonstrating an interest in health care management, experiences in the health care field, and career goals and aspirations.)
