Dr. Frederic M. Crawford
Dr. Frederic M. Crawford joined the MTSU History Department in 1964 and retired in
December 2011. In his 45-year career, Dr. Crawford taught many courses, including
Roman and Greek History, the French Revolution and Napoleon, Absolutism and Enlightenment,
and Western Civilization. He was well known for his generosity and his love of baseball
and politics. Dr. Crawford passed away on October 7, 2018.
