Junior Interdisciplinary Seminar:
The World of Vergil, Boethius, and Dante
Taught by Dr. Philip Phillips,
Professor of English and
Associate Dean, Honors College
Earn three hours of interdisciplinary honors credit (UH 3500), which can substitute
for ENGL 3400 or count toward interdisciplinary minors in Classical Studies, Great
Books, Medieval Studies, or Global Studies.
Includes on-site transportation, lodging, cultural activities, excursions with guides,
guest lecturers, emergency support, and daily breakfast.
MTSU summer tuition (discounted 25%), flight, books, education abroad and iNext fee,
passport, some meals, and spending money.
Summer Sessions 1 & 2 (May 18-June 15)
Must have a minimum 3.25 GPA to apply
Competitive admission; limited to 16 students
