Jun Zhang, Phd

Jun Zhang, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Strategic Media at Middle Tennessee State University. Zhang conducts research on brand crises, emerging media and technologies, and preventive health behavior. She was a research analyst at the Center for Social Media Research at Peking University, China. She served as the key member of the Social Media Impact Measurement Project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the lead project manager for the social listening projects for Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and the International Organization for Migration.

Matthew P. Taylor, PhD

Matthew Taylor, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Strategic Media at Middle Tennessee State University. His teaching and research are informed by more than a decade of professional communication experience concentrated primarily in the areas of nonprofit education and health. He completed the PhDigital Bootcamp, a six-week program that "prepares mass communication faculty to become digital scholar-educators and lead curriculum innovation." He has published research on digital topics including social media and podcasting.
