Online Tutoring Fall 2020

The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers a variety of tutoring opportunities for students. Listed below are the emails and sections available for tutoring. Using your MTSU email, put the course for which tutoring is needed in the Subject Line of the email and request help. A tutor will respond to set up an appointment with a URL link to join a Zoom meeting. Students will need a wifi connection or unlimited data.  A webcam or headset will also be useful. **If there is no course in the subject line or an email is received from a non-MTSU email account, the email will be returned with a request to resubmit from your MTSU email with a course listed in the subject line.** 

Math Tutoring is offered remotely via Zoom. Due to scheduling, zoom sessions are an hour or less.

Student Clubs

The American Mathematical Society: Headlines & Deadlines for Students: E-mail notification of mathematics news and upcoming deadlines that are of special interest to both graduate and undergraduate students. These notifications will be issued about once a month, and when there's special news. Imminent deadlines will be included, which will link to a web page that's a centralized source for information relevant to students and faculty advisors.
