The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers a variety of tutoring opportunities
for students.
--The Calculus Tutoring Lab is in KOM 252 and tutors Math 1630, 1720, 1730, 1810,
1910, 1920, and 3110.
--Tutoring for MATH 1010, 1530, and 1710 is in KOM 124.
**The hours for both tutoring labs are Monday-Thursday, 9am-6pm, and Friday 10am-2pm.
Student Clubs
The American Mathematical Society: Headlines & Deadlines for Students: E-mail notification of mathematics news and
upcoming deadlines that are of special interest to both graduate and undergraduate
students. These notifications will be issued about once a month, and when there's
special news. Imminent deadlines will be included, which will link to a web page that's
a centralized source for information relevant to students and faculty advisors. It is not necessary to be a member of the AMS to sign up for this service, at http://www.ams.org/news-for-students/signup.
