Getting an education is more that just getting a degree, and part of that could include a study abroad trip. There are many reasons to study abroad. Other than the excitement of travel, you will also experience new things such as customs, art, music, politics, foods and many other things that are unlike what you are used to at home.
Study abroad certainly could be a central component of students’ Middle East Studies. At, MTSU there are many opportunities to study abroad in a Middle Eastern country. We currently have contacts with universities in Dubai, Israel, and Turkey. We are also a part of the AMIDEAST consortium, for more information on the AMIDEAST program please click here. Also additional programs are available, through other universities, for MTSU credit.
If you would like more information on studying abroad in the Middle East, please contact Dr. Allen Hibbard, Director of the Middle East Center, at email@example.com or the MT Study Abroad office at firstname.lastname@example.org or (615) 898-5179.
