Kenneth L. Kirkes

Second Lieutenant Kenneth Lee Kirkes, born on October 9th, 1944 in Tullahoma, Tennessee, was a member of the Marine Corps Reserve and served our country for three years until his death on February 9th, 1968. A casualty of the Viet Nam War, he was killed by small arms fire in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 23 years old and unmarried. His name is listed on panel 38E, line 054 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
