Army Private Bryan Turner served as a medic and died off the coast of the Azores when his transport ship collided with a French aircraft carrier.

Bryan Turner is buried or memorialized at Tablets of the Missing at Brittany American Cemetery, St. James, France. This is an American Battle Monuments Commission location.
