Whitlow, Alton F.

Staff Sergeant Alton Whitlow served in the U.S. Army during World War II, assigned to 80th Infantry Division, 317th Infantry Regiment, and was killed in France on September 12, 1944.

Alton F Whitlow is buried or memorialized at Plot C Row 24 Grave 68, Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France. This is an American Battle Monuments Commission location.

It is believed that Staff Sergeant Whitlow mustered at MTSU before going to Camp Forrest for training.
