LTG (R) Keith M. Huber
MTSU Senior Advisor for Veterans and Leadership Initiatives
LTG(R) Huber was born into a military family. His grandfather served in World War I and his father served in World War II. He graduated from West Point in 1975 and served 38 years on active duty as an Infantryman and Green Beret. For 14 of his 38 years, he served at the rank of General Officer. His overseas service includes tours in Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Haiti, Honduras, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. LTG(R) Huber is Special Forces and Ranger qualified. He has earned the Combat Infantryman, Special Operations Combat Diver, Master Parachutist, Air Assault, and Joint Chiefs of Staff badges. He is currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Veterans and Leadership Initiatives and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at MTSU. LTG(R) Huber created the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center at MTSU, the largest and most comprehensive Veterans Center on an academic campus in the nation.
