Transportation
The Raider Xpress shuttle service is designed to transport faculty, staff, students and visitors throughout the campus and to help alleviate congestion at the campus core. Service is available only when classes are in session. All shuttles are accessible to persons with disabilities.
Parking Services

- Located at 205 City View Drive. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. Everyone must have a parking permit to park on the MTSU campus.
- Upon payment of all registration fees, students are eligible to receive a residential/on-campus housing (red) or commuter/ off-campus housing (green) parking permit.
- To obtain your permit bring a photo identification and your license plate number to our office. Everyone must pick up their own parking permit at the address above.
Public Transit – Rover
The City of Murfreesboro Transportation Department is responsible for the administration and operation of public transportation service (Rover) within the City of Murfreesboro. It also works with and / or assists other regional providers with mobility issues.
Rover operates between 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. on weekdays. Service is not available Saturdays, Sundays, or the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- President’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veteran’s Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve Day
- Christmas Day
Note: If the holiday falls on a Saturday the legal holiday will be on a Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday the legal holiday will be on a Monday.
