Tracking Tennessee's Economy

Tracking Tennessee's Economy research is conducted by Dr. Murat Arik, director of the Business and Economic Research Center at MTSU in partnership with the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations.

Real average hourly earnings are calculated by dividing nominal hourly earnings by the monthly CPI-U for the South published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
