Get to the Rec!
Campus Recreation is a great place to get fit and play. It's also a great place to meet friends. When you need a break from studying, come on over and shoot some hoops, enjoy the pool, walk the track, check out what's coming up in intramurals, or sign up for an outdoor trip. Oh, and you can work out some stress in the cardio and weight rooms, too!
Nutrition Tip of the Week:
Practice portion control. Use a smaller plate. Total carbs (potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing) should be the size of your fist. This also goes for lean proteins which should equal the size and thickness of your palm (no fingers)
If you're a dessert person and know you won't be able to pass up that piece of pie, don't deprive yourself. Pass on the roll with butter and have a small piece of pie. This will help you enjoy it guilt-free and not feel like you are missing out.
