Accelerated Bachelor to Master Degree Programs

The Accelerated Bachelor to Master (ABM) program allows qualified undergraduates an opportunity to complete requirements for both the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in as little as one year beyond their undergraduate degree without taking the GMAT or GRE. Participating undergraduate students may count up to 6 graduate credit hours toward the requirements of both their undergraduate and graduate degree.

The Department of Management is now accepting applications for Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s programs:

Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s—Master of Science in Management

Participating students may count up to 3 approved graduate credit hours toward the requirements of both the Bachelor of Business Administration (Management major) and for the Master of Science in Management with concentrations in:

Eligibility requirements:

  • Application will be formally accepted after completion of a minimum of 75 undergraduate credit hours.
  • Students must have a minimum inclusive grade point average (GPA) of 3.25.
  • Applicants should have at least two full-time semesters remaining.
  • Transfer students must have completed a minimum of two semesters as a full-time student at MTSU.
  • Accepted students must have completed MGMT 3610—Principles of Management (with a grade of at least a “B”) and one additional MGMT course.

Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s—Master of Business Administration

Participating students may count up to 6 approved graduate credit hours toward the requirements of both the Bachelor of Business Administration (Management or Business Administration major) and the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).

Eligibility requirements:

  • Application will be formally accepted between the completion of at least 75 undergraduate credit hours (including Advanced Placement credits).
  • Students must have a minimum inclusive grade point average (GPA) of 3.25.
  • Applicants must have at least two full-time semesters remaining.

Formal admission to the ABM M.B.A. program requires:

If applicants qualify for admission, they will be directed to submit the Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Program Contract to the College of Graduate Studies.
