Evolution and ecology of plants, with particular interest in the evolution of mating systems, plant-pollinator interactions and floral diversity. Ecology and conservation of cedar glade ecosystems and their flora.

Research / Scholarly Activity

My research focuses on the evolution, ecology, and pollination biology of plants. I am also interested in the conservation of threatened and endangered plant species, such as the species of Leavenworthia and Astragalus which are endemic to the cedar glade habitats of middle Tennessee.
