Robert G. Adams

Robert Adams received a B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University and a Medical Technologist designation from Vanderbilt University in 1973.

He served in the United States Army from 1969-1971. In 1973-74 he was employed at Vanderbilt University Hospital as a Medical Technologist. He advanced from Bookkeeper to Administrative Assistant to Administration at Murfreesboro Health Care Center from 1974 to 1978. He was Regional Administrator overseeing 14 long-term health care facilities and six home health agencies at National Health Corporation from 1978-1985. From 1985 to 1994 he was Senior Vice President overseeing development and operation in the State of Florida for National HealthCare L.P. Since 1995 he has been COO of Operations and Direction of Construction for National HealthCare L.P.

Mr. Adams is a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Florida Health Care Association. He has held memberships in the Tennessee Hospital Association, and the National Council of Health Centers.

In 1984, Mr. Adams was recognized as Administrator of the Year by the American College of Health Care Administration.
