 NOTICE:

The MTSU School of Nursing will host an onsite evaluation of the baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate program with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from February 12 to 14, 2018.  The CCNE accreditation process provides the opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation.

As a constituent of one or more of our programs, you are being notified of the site visit and the opportunity to provide comments regarding our programs. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English. Any and all comments submitted to CCNE in a language other than English will not be processed.

Written third-party comments will be received by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation, or by January 22, 2018.  All comments are to be directed to:

Please note that CCNE shares third-party comments with the evaluation team prior to the on-site evaluation, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board.  During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to the accreditation standards.

The MTSU School of Nursing undergraduate program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The graduate program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

The School of Nursing offers:
  • Traditional four-year baccalaureate nursing program
  • Masters of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner
