Dr. Tucker, is a number-1 selling author for his book titled: Powerful Co-Teacher: Special Education & General Education. He currenltly is employed in his 12th year as a professional licensed PreK-12 Special Education Teacher in the state of Tennessee. He also serves as a 2nd year Adjunct Professor in the Department of Elementary and Special Education at MTSU. His research interests are in the areas of inclusive participation of students with disabilities that have social & emotional learning challenges. His current research involves investigating the participation of students with disabilities in an inclusive setting that have Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Dr. Tucker, also supervises the Response To Intervention-Behavior Program at his current public school placement. Dr. Tucker, also played football for MTSU under Coach Boots Donnelly. Dr. Tucker completed his undergraduate work at Middle Tennessee State University.  He earned his Master’s degree in Education from Cumberland University and earned his Education Specialist Degree from MTSU.  As an exmplerary worker in the PreK-12 setting for several years, where he was awarded Teacher of the Year, Dr. Tucker earned his Doctorate Degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Ultimately, Dr. Tucker endeavors are to prepare future transformational special education teachers and maintain his strong advocacy efforts for the entire at-risk student population.
