Monday 9/25 11:20am-12:20pm Marketing in a Diverse World: Raising Cultural Awareness An MT Engage event open for all.  With information from around the world becoming more readily accessible, it is important for students to understand the global marketplace. This event will discuss cultural differences from around the world (e.g., gestures, colors, language translations, traditions). In addition, students will learn how these cultural differences impact marketing. As part of this event, students will be given the opportunity to try a variety of name brand food-based products from each continent (e.g., Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, Australia). Students will also engage in hands-on activities to recognize the vast amount of consumer goods they possess that are produced internationally. Tuesday 9/26   The Pitch by Jackson (Elevator Pitch Competition) MTSU’s premier elevator pitch competition. Each student will have five minutes to give their 30 to 90-second elevator pitch with feedback from our judges.
