The bedrock of effective course design is the establishment of student learning outcomes. This workshop will help you decide what students must know and be able to do by the end of your course. Beginning with the end in mind will help you—the designer of learning experiences—build the architecture of your class.  With the outcomes established, you will be ready to leave this workshop and start aligning your outcomes to the proper assessments (Stage 2) and learning plans (Stage 3) to ensure the outcomes you defined are guaranteed for all students taking your course.
